How to create a review invitation configuration?

How to configure an invitation to leave a review?
- Log in to the TrustMate panel.
- Go to the “invitations” tab, then to the “configurations” tab.
You will find two default configurations: a company rating invitation and a product rating invitation. You can use, edit, or create your own configurations according to your needs.
To create a new configuration click the “create new” button. Then choose how you want to ask your customers for their reviews:
- via email - The most commonly used and effective option, where an email is sent to your customer on your behalf after a purchase.
- via SMS - (Available only in selected markets and involves additional fees) Your customer receives an SMS request for a review after purchase.
- QR/NFC - Configure a review form that the user is redirected to after scanning a QR code or tapping a properly encoded NFC tag.
Next, select the type of configuration:
- Company rating 1-5: An invitation to review the company, covering aspects like order fulfillment speed, shopping experience, delivery method, service, product quality, availability, and special offers.
- Product rating 1-5: An invitation to review purchased products, typically rating look, quality, craftsmanship, durability, and other features.
- Redirection: This setting allows redirection to another review source, such as Google or another external form.
- Company rating 1-10 (NPS): This option lets you measure your NPS (Net Promoter Score), which shows customer satisfaction and how likely they are to recommend your store to family or friends.
- Survey: This type of configuration allows you to create a detailed survey with custom questions, enabling written responses, multiple and single-choice answers, ratings on a scale of 1-10, and more.
After selecting the type of configuration, name it.
This name will be visible only to you; include the type and key features to easily find it in the list.
To proceed, click “continue.”

How to configure a "company rating 1-5" invitation?
Invitation
After clicking “continue,” you will enter the configuration wizard.
In the settings tab, you can set:
- Configuration name: Edit the previously selected name.
- Message sender: The name displayed to your customer in their email inbox.
- Number of days after purchase when the invitation is sent.
- Number of days after sending the invitation when a reminder email is sent.
- Number of reminders sent.
After setting all parameters, go to the “theme” tab, where you can choose from 12 invitation designs.
You can preview the invitation on the right side of the screen for both desktop and mobile views.
You can edit the invitation's color scheme in the next step by going to the “appearance” tab.
Customize the invitation's look and style to match your brand. Select colors, tailor the email and reminder content, and impress your customers with a unique design!
You can also choose from various fonts and select a symbol for customers to rate from 1 to 5.
When your invitation is ready, go to the “steps” tab. Here you can define the steps and their order in the review process.
Available modules:
- Company invitation: Ask consumers for a review of their service, delivery, and overall experience.
- Company media: Request customers to add photos, videos, or a YouTube link to their company review.
- Survey: Create a survey for detailed customer feedback. Survey data is collected exclusively for you and not displayed outside the TrustMate panel (requires a pre-created survey).
- NPS: Conduct an NPS survey to find out if customers would recommend your store to friends or family.
- Product invitation: Ask consumers for their opinion on purchased products (selected packages also include review assistants or suggestion systems).
Product invitation can be extended with:
- Product media: Request customers to add photos, videos, or a YouTube link to their product reviews.
- Product polls: Ask about specific product features, such as size or fit, to help future customers make informed decisions.
Some modules allow further configuration after clicking the gear icon.
The arrangement of modules in the configurator reflects the review process steps, guiding the customer through each step sequentially (from left to right).
After configuring the steps in your review process, go to the “thank you page” tab.
Thank you page
Here, you can create a dedicated thank you page for customers to see after submitting a review.
Customize the content, buttons, and graphics to encourage repeat purchases.
The thank you page is also a great place to offer a discount code for free shipping on the next order.
You can also add a link to another open review form, such as on your Google Business profile.
Additionally, you can create two versions of the thank you page: one for positive reviews and one for negative reviews, further personalizing customer experiences and maintaining satisfaction.
Preview your thank you page by clicking the “preview” button.
When finished, click "Save" and it's ready! Your company rating invitation configuration is now ready to send!
How to configure a "product rating 1-5" invitation?
After clicking “continue,” you will enter the configuration wizard.
In the settings tab, you can set:
- Configuration name: Edit the previously selected name.
- Message sender: The name displayed to your customer in their email inbox.
- Number of days after purchase when the invitation is sent.
- Number of days after sending the invitation when a reminder email is sent.
- Number of reminders sent.
- Order of product reviews: Choose the order in which products are reviewed in multi-product orders, either “highest price to lowest” or “least reviewed to most reviewed,” based on your needs.
After setting all parameters, go to the “theme” tab, where you can choose from 15 invitation designs.
Preview the invitation on the right side of the screen for both desktop and mobile views.
You can edit the invitation's color scheme in the next step by going to the “look” tab.

How to configure a "redirection" invitation?
After inserting a link to an external form and clicking “continue,” you will enter the configuration wizard.
In the settings tab, you can set:
- Configuration name: Edit the previously selected name.
- Message sender: The name displayed to your customer in their email inbox.
- Number of days after purchase when the invitation is sent.
- Number of days after sending the invitation when a reminder email is sent.
- Number of reminders sent.
- Button text: The text on which, when pressed, will cause redirection.
After setting all the parameters, go to the "theme" tab, where you can choose one of 12 invitation themes.
On the right side of the screen, you will see a preview of the invitation within the selected theme - you can check how it will look on both computers and mobile devices.
You can edit the invitation's color scheme in the next step - to do this, go to the "appearance" tab.
At this stage, you can give your invitation a unique look and style that matches your brand. Choose the color scheme, customize the content of the invitation email and reminders, and impress your clients with a unique design!
You can also use one of the many available fonts.
Rating symbols from 1 to 5 will not appear for the redirection configuration.
In the "steps" tab, you can edit the link to which the redirect will lead.
For this configuration, there is no need to set up a thank-you page, as the user will be redirected outside the TrustMate service and will not have the opportunity to see it.
So, just click "save" and you're done!
Your redirection configuration is ready to be sent!
How to configure a "company rating 1-10 (NPS)" invitation?
After clicking "proceed further," you'll enter the configuration wizard.
In the "settings" tab, you can set:
- Configuration name: you can edit the previously selected name.
- Message sender: the sender's name that will appear in your client's email inbox.
- Number of days after which the invitation will be sent.
- Number of days after sending the invitation, when a reminder email about submitting a review will be sent.
- Number of reminders to be sent.
After setting all the parameters, proceed to the "theme" tab, where you can choose one of 12 invitation themes.
On the right side of the screen, you'll see a preview of the invitation within the selected theme—you can check how it will look on both computers and mobile devices.

- Survey: Create a survey and ask your customers about their detailed experiences. The data from the surveys is collected only for you and will not be displayed outside the TrustMate panel. (The survey must be created in advance)
- Company invitation: Ask consumers for reviews where they can share their impressions of the service, delivery, and overall experience with their order.
- Company media: Ask customers to add photos, videos, or a YouTube link to their review of your company.
- Product invitation: Ask consumers for their opinions about purchased products. (In selected packages, you can also use the review assistant or suggestion system)
You can extend the product invitation with:- Product media: Ask customers to add a photo, video, or YouTube link to their review of the product.
- Product surveys: Ask about detailed product features, such as size or fit, to display results on the page and help future buyers make the right purchasing decisions.
Some modules also allow for additional configuration by clicking the gear icon.
The arrangement of modules in the configurator will be reflected in the review process—the client will go through all the steps in sequence (from left to right).
Once you have appropriately configured the steps in your review process, you can move to the "thank you page" tab.
Here, you can create a dedicated thank you page for submitting a review that your clients will see after submitting their feedback.
Customize the content, buttons, and graphics to encourage your clients to make further purchases.
The thank you page is also a great place to include, for example, a discount code for free shipping on the next order.
You can also add a link to another open review form, such as your Google company profile.
You can preview the completed thank you page by clicking the "preview" button.
This is the final step! Your NPS configuration is now ready to be sent!
How to configure a "survey" invitation?
To create this configuration, you first need to create a survey.
- To do this, go to the "Surveys" tab.
- Click on "create new" in the upper right corner.
- Provide a name for the new survey - it will only be visible to you.
- Click "Accept".
- Create a welcome message and click "save".
- Then go to the "questions" tab and create questions and separators for the survey, using the creator on the right side of the screen.
- Once you have created the questions, go back to the "Surveys" tab and click on "details" (pencil and notepad symbol) next to the survey you want to edit.
- Then add your created questions to the survey by selecting them from the drop-down list.
- In this view, you can also create conditional questions.
- Once you have finished creating the survey, save it and return to the "invitations" tab.
- Then create a new invitation configuration, selecting the type "survey".
- Choose the survey name from the list, name the new configuration, and proceed.
In this step, you'll find yourself in the configuration wizard. In the settings tab, you can adjust:
- Configuration name - you can edit the previously selected name
- Message sender - the name of the sender that will appear to your customer in their mailbox.
- Number of days after which the invitation will be sent
- Number of days after sending the invitation, when a reminder email will be sent about leaving a review.
- Number of reminders sent
- the content of the button redirecting to the survey.
After setting all the parameters, go to the "theme" tab, where you can choose one of the 12 invitation themes.
On the right side of the screen, you'll see a preview of the invitation within the selected theme - you can check how it will look both on a computer and on mobile devices.
You can edit the invitation's color scheme in the next step - to do this, go to the "look" tab.
At this stage, you can give your invitation a unique look and style tailored to your brand.
Choose the color scheme, customize the invitation email content and reminders, and delight customers with exceptional design!
You can also choose from one of the many available fonts and select a symbol through which your customers will rate on a scale from 1 to 5.
When your invitation is ready, go to the "steps" tab. At this stage, you can determine the stages and the sequence in which the opinion-giving process will consist.

- product invitation - ask consumers for their opinion on purchased products. (In selected packages, you can also use the opinion issuing assistant or prompts system)

You can also add a link to another open review form, such as in your Google business listing.
You can see the finished thank you page by clicking the "preview" button. When you're done, click "save" and you're all set!
