What are review prompt dictionaries and why are they created?
Review prompt dictionaries are sets of predefined phrases that a customer can select while writing a review about a product or a company. They help make reviews more detailed, insightful, and valuable-both for other users and in terms of SEO.
Prompts are available only for positive ratings (4 and 5 stars). The user can select one phrase per feature-i.e., a thematic group referring to a specific aspect of a product or service, such as quality, appearance, size, or customer service. The system then automatically merges the selected prompts into a coherent statement, which the customer can still edit before submission.
Why is it worth creating them?
- Reviews become longer, more unique, and better optimized for search engines.
- They help build a consistent brand or product image in a controlled way.
- Prompt-generated reviews are logical, clear, and credible.

How to choose a category for a product dictionary?
Choosing the right product category is a key step in creating an effective review prompt dictionary. To fully leverage its potential, we recommend starting with categories that are most significant to your business.
Recommended selection criteria:
- Most purchased category - focusing on bestsellers allows you to collect more reviews faster.
- Highest-traffic category - increases reach and visibility among users.
- Category with high SEO potential - precise thematic phrases enhance organic search performance.
Tip:
The more specific and specialized the category, the better the qualitative results (review relevance) and technical results (keyword diversity).
Before you begin, make sure the selected category is already available in your TrustMate admin panel. If it's not, consult your account manager about the possibility of adding it.
What are the guidelines for preparing review prompt dictionaries?
In the TrustMate system, there are two types of review prompt dictionaries:
- Product dictionary (for specific product categories)
- Company dictionary (for general store or brand reviews)
Each has a different purpose and technical requirements. To ensure correct implementation and high-quality reviews, the dictionaries must meet specific structural and linguistic standards.
Product dictionary - requirements:
- Scope: one selected product category
- Number of features: minimum 3 (e.g., quality, appearance, size)
- Number of phrases: at least 55 unique phrases per feature
- Phrase length: 10–100 characters (including spaces)
- File format: CSV (matching the format shown in the example below)
📄 Example product dictionary:

Company dictionary - requirements:
- Scope: general evaluation of the store or brand
- Number of features: minimum 4 (e.g., customer service, delivery speed, product range, summary)
- Number of phrases: at least 100 unique phrases per feature
- Phrase length: 10-100 characters (including spaces)
- File format: CSV (structured as required by the system)

Can a dictionary contain fewer phrases than required?
No. Both product and company review prompt dictionaries must meet the minimum requirements to be implemented in the TrustMate system. Files that do not meet the required volume criteria will be rejected and cannot be launched.
Minimum requirements:
- Product dictionary: at least 3 features, each with a minimum of 55 unique phrases
- Company dictionary: at least 4 features, each with a minimum of 100 unique phrases
Why is this important?
These numbers are not random - they are based on system performance analysis. Having too few phrases may result in:
- Lower credibility in the eyes of users
- Reduced review visibility in search engines (weaker SEO)
Where should the dictionary be uploaded in the system?
Once your prompt dictionary is prepared in the required CSV format, you can easily submit it for implementation. TrustMate’s team handles the upload process - only one step is needed from your side.
How to submit the file?
Send your completed dictionary:
- Directly to your account manager
- Or to: support@trustmate.io
Upon receipt, the TrustMate team will verify the file’s correctness - both its technical structure and content compliance with system standards.
If the dictionary meets all formal and quality criteria, it will be uploaded and activated in your store’s review form.
Do I need to create all dictionaries at once?
No, that’s not necessary. You can start using the review prompt system with just one dictionary - we recommend beginning with a product dictionary assigned to your store’s most popular category. This allows for a quick launch, real-time observation of the feature’s impact, and a better understanding of how the prompt system works.
Later, you can gradually expand your dictionary base by:
- Adding new product categories
- Including a company dictionary for overall brand/store reviews
The system is designed to be flexible and scalable, adjusting to the growth of your business.
Do I have to write the dictionaries myself?
Not necessarily. If you’re short on time or unsure about how to prepare dictionaries on your own, we offer support. You can contact your account manager or send a request to: support@trustmate.io.
Our team will create dedicated dictionaries tailored to your business needs and provide a quote for the service.
