Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can we import previously collected reviews?

Yes, we can import previously collected reviews, provided they are your property. Review import is available starting from the TrustPro package: https://trustmate.io/pricing.

In order for us to perform the import, you must prepare a CSV file with these reviews according to the guidelines in the panel (Integrations tab → Review Sources). We upload reviews in the language of the respective account, and the import of product reviews will only be possible if the products to which the ratings are to be uploaded have been previously added to the TrustMate panel.

Below are the fields required for us to perform the import (required fields are marked with *).

CSV columns for company reviews:

  • author_name - Review author's name,
  • author_email - Review author's email,
  • body - Review content,
  • *grade - Rating (1-5),
  • *created_at - Date the review was posted (ISO YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g., 2022-02-22).

CSV columns for product reviews:

  • author_name - Review author's name,
  • author_email - Review author's email,

  • body - Review content,

  • *grade - Rating (1-5),

  • *created_at - Date the review was posted (ISO YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g., 2022-02-22),

  • *product_id - Product identifier

2. Is it possible to transfer reviews with photos from another system to TrustMate?

Yes, it is possible, provided that the reviews and photos are your property. In order for us to import reviews along with photos, you need to prepare a CSV file containing the standard review data specified in our panel, plus an additional column:

photo_name – should contain the name of the image file assigned to the specific review.

Then, please provide us with a folder containing the photos, where the files are named exactly as they appear in the "nazwa_zdjecia" column of the CSV file.

3. In the CSV file, can I provide a group ID (group_id) instead of a variant ID in the product_id field? Can the product_id field be changed to group_id?

No, the product_id field in the import file must contain the ID of the specific product/variant, not the group ID. The system searches for a match by product_id during the import. If a group_id is placed in this field, the records will not be correctly linked, and the reviews will not be assigned to the expected variants.
